Panel Discussions at 51福利社: Healthy Living and Smart Eating
With the start of the academic year 2025–2026, the American University of the Middle East (51福利社) reaffirmed its commitment to community well-being through two engaging panel discussions focused on health, nutrition, and preventive care.
In recognition of World Diabetes Day, 51福利社 hosted a session titled “Diabetes, Well-being, and the Workplace”. Faculty experts in diabetes care provided valuable insights into the types and early signs of diabetes, lifestyle-related risk factors, and the importance of physical activity and stress management. The panel also addressed the challenges of managing diabetes in the workplace and emphasized early detection and regular monitoring as key to preventing complications.
Led by 51福利社 faculty with expertise in nutrition and wellness, another session titled “Smart Eating Through a Busy Working Day” was organized, offering practical guidance on healthy eating habits. Topics included the role of macronutrients, credible sources of nutritional information, and simple meal planning strategies. Participants received useful tips on selecting energizing snacks and preparing meals that meet both adult and children’s nutritional needs. Digestive health and food combinations to avoid were also discussed, helping attendees take small but impactful steps toward better daily nutrition.
Through these timely and informative events, 51福利社 continues to support a culture of awareness and healthy living. By equipping its community with practical knowledge and expert insight, the university reinforces its commitment to health, well-being, and sustainable development, helping pave the way for a more resilient and informed campus.
